› Haulin' Aspen Aid Station Sponsors

All of the aid stations on the course are sponsorsed by local businesses. Each aid station sponsor pays a fee and provides the volunteers and 100% of the money goes to our 2010 beneficiary, The Mountain View High School Cross Country Team. We will update this page with all of our 2010 sponsors so that you can thank them if you happen to walk into their business or as you run by them on the course. This is a huge part of the fundraising we do for Haulin' Aspen so we can't tell you enough how much these sponsors are appreciated! If you are interested in sponsoring an aid station, contact the race director for details.

› Aid Station Locations

Amazingly enough for a remote trail race, there are nine opportunities on the marathon course and five on the half-marathon course to replenish yourself. The table below identified the location and what is at each aid station. Please understand that due to the terrain, it is often difficult to place aid stations in ideal locations or to place them equal distances apart. Therefore, we ask that runners take personal responsibility and be prepared if the locations and products offered at each aid station do not meet your individual needs!   Note that these mile points are approximate and may vary slightly.

In 2010 we will have Energy Chews at several aid stations in addition to Energy Gels. As always, if you have an energy drink that works for you or nutritional requirements other than what we offer, we recommend carrying it with you.

POST RACE FOOD AND BEER!

Aid station 3 (half marathon/marathon split) and aid station 8 are only .10 of a mile apart for the half marathers. Aid station 8 is really for marathoners coming down the trail but because of the congestion at the split, we wanted to make sure half marathoners have an alternative.

To answer the enevitable question, there are no portable toilets along the course! This is a trail race and there are loads of pine trees and bushes at your disposal.
