› Refund & transfer policy

I understand and accept that my entry fee may only be transferred or partially refunded if FreshAirSports is notified in writing by the dates indicated below. The following rules apply to refunds and transfers:

Entry may be transferred to another person, however a $20 transfer fee will be charged at the time of transfer. Transfers may only occur prior to June 1, 2010. Contact the race director to initiate the transfer process.

Athletes may transfer an entry to a different event during the Deschutes Dash weekend sports festival (e.g., Olympic triathlon to Olympic duathlon), however a $20 transfer fee or the difference in race entry fee will apply, whichever is greater. If an athlete is transferring to an event less expensive (e.g., triathlon to 10K run) no transfer fee will apply however the difference in race entry fees will not be refunded.

Athletes may receive a 50% refund (minus service fees) of their entry fee only due to medical reasons if the request and a physician's note is received prior to June 1, 2010. If an athlete purchased any additional items (e.g., technical tee, visor), we will send the item(s) to you post-race either COD or for a $6.00 fee, but we cannot process refunds.

Athletes who cannot participate in the 2010 event due to injury or illness may transfer an entry to 2011 if the race director is notified prior to June 1, 2010. Note that if there is a difference in race entry fees, or extra costs (t-shirts, USAT one day licenses, etc.) the athlete will pay the difference. In the event of a transfer to the following year, it is the responsibility of the athlete to confirm with the race director the intent to participate. The race director must be contacted 90 days in advance of the race date.

We understand that plans change and circumstances happen, therefore we have a liberal refund and transfer policy. Please note that after June 1st, no refunds or transfers are possible.
